Pine kernel oil, alternatively known as pine seed oil or cedar nut oil, is a plant-derived oil derived from the ingestible seeds of various types of pine trees.
Although the oil derived from the seeds of more prevalent European and American pine species is primarily utilized in the kitchen, Siberian pines (found in Russia, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan), and Korean pines (predominantly found in China and North Korea) produce seeds with the utmost concentration of pinolenic acid, along with antioxidants linked to therapeutic applications.
